Below are a few ways in which I might be able to support your explorations in mindfulness. Samples of workshops or classes can be found on the True Nature YouTube channel.

Ongoing meditation classes are a wonderful wellness offering for employees. Drop-in mindfulness classes are an opportunity for self care during the working day, and a way to build community. These sessions meet once or twice a week. Each class starts off with a guided 20 - 30 minute guided meditation, followed by Q & A or shares, ending with a short mindfulness talk. This is a powerful way to learn mindfulness, as the collective presence creates a deep sense of safety and connection. The themes explored are fluid in nature as they emerge organically as a result of what is alive in the moment for the group.

Workshops are a great way to get an introductory taste of the different aspects of mindfulness over just a few sessions. Below are a few ideas, if you are thinking of hosting a mindfulness workshop. Foundations of Mindfulness

This 4-week introductory course will focus on each pillar that makes up the foundation of Mindfulness: meditation as a way to increase mindfulness, awareness of the body, emotions and mind. Each session will be taught as a hands-on investigation to explore the true nature of awareness.


Mindful Communication

Learn how to communicate in a way that increases connection and understanding in your life! This 4 weeks series will use a series of interactive exercises to apply the principals of both Mindfulness and Nonviolent Communication to increase understanding and connection in our day to day conversations. We will explore the following: having attuned conversations, listening with empathy, asking for what you want, and communicating effectively during conflicts.


Deconstructing the Mind

Mindfulness of our mental conditioning gives us the choice to create new habits that better contribute to our well-being! This 3-week course will focus on investigating the tendencies of the mind that drive most of our unconscious behaviors and generate unnecessary stress. The following themes will be explored: changing the negativity bias of the brain, befriending the inner critic, and seeing how wanting or not wanting drives our actions.


Bringing Mindfulness into the Workplace

This 3 part series focuses on how to increase connection, efficiency and creativity into the work place through mindfulness.

  • Session 1: Mindfulness is the foundation - Awareness is the key element in ensuring that our perception about what is happening is accurate so that our actions can be effective. This session will explore how the nervous system modulates the availability of awareness and how to create the conditions to bring clarity and creativity online.

  • Session 2: Reconnecting to What Matters - Where we place our attention determines our sense of reality! Participants will experiment with shifting their focus to different aspects of their work experience to increase a sense of meaningfulness, effectiveness and engagement at their job.

  • Session 3: Communicating Mindfully - This session builds on the previous two: staying grounded and present during conversations and paying attention to motivations versus the story created by words. Speaking with intentionality and being able to listen in a way that gets to the heart of the matter is the key ingredient for effective and connecting collaboration.


This 2 part series explores how mediation can be used as a refuge for difficult times. In the first session, participants learn techniques to break free from unhelpful thought patterns and how to meet difficult emotions with interest and care. In the second session, the practices of gratitude, compassion, and loving kindness will be explored to restore a more balanced perspective on reality.
