August 18th: Being with what is happening: this session explored meditation as a safe place to deeply listen, witness and be with all experiences and how to meet difficult emotions with more compassion and care.

August 20th: Restoring a more balanced view: one of the mind’s survival strategy is being able to quickly detect threats or problems. This session focused on using heart practices such as gratitude, compassion, love and generosity to restore a more balanced perspective on reality.

This 3 weeks series focuses on: how meditation can be used to strengthen our attention so that we can have more agency, how to bring somatic and emotional awareness online as a source of wisdom, and how mindful communication can increase connection in our relationships.

Reflections for Inquiry

Mindfulness allows us to see our true nature. With a steady attention, we can observe and investigate moment to moment phenomena. We can learn about how we relate to experiences, and how our mind has the tendency to build stories around what is happening. These stories can become core beliefs that drive most of our unconscious behaviors. By bringing awareness to these habits, we can start to question whether this default mode really serves our well-being. Ultimately, awareness offers us more freedom and choice in how we move through this world.

These recordings are a compilation of different themes that I have been reflecting on within my own practice. Perhaps something strikes a chord of resonance … Enjoy the journey inwards!
